AUDITECO was retained by a Client from the oil and gas extraction industry to perform Phase I Environmental Assessment according to the Ministry Order no. 184/1997 in order to obtain Environmental Permits for 43 locations.
Phase I Environmental Assessments were developed for the purpose of obtaining information about the causes and the consequences of negative, cumulated, past, present and anticipated effects of the activities performed on the investigated sites.
The reports included compliance measures and measures to improve environmental management, based on both the results of investigations and some measures contained in compliance programmes and other existing documentation.
The documentations was submitted to Bacau Environmental Protection Agency. After reviewig them, EPA Bacau required the development of the Phase II Environmental Assessments.
