During the 26th and 30th of January 2015 AUDITECO organised an ‘Environmental Auditor’ course for the Master of Science students of the Faculty of Geography with the University of Bucharest.
The training course is certified by The National Authority for Qualifications (ANC), having the COR: 325703.
The lecturers were highly qualified specialists, with an extensive expertise in this field: Cicerone IONESCU (Ph.D), Eng. Sergiu Diaconu (Ph.D), geogr. Raluca SERBAN and geogr. Sorin NASTASE.
The students attended an interactive course, acquiring new information and technical abilities in the following fields:
- Building and implementation an Environmental Management System in conformance with ISO 14001:2009;
- ISO 19011:2011 – Guidelines for auditing the Quality/Environmental Management Systems;
- Types of environmental audits and auditing procedures;
- Applicable environmental legislation and institutional framework in Romania.
The students also developed general skills which would allow them to be more easily remarked in an increasingly competitive job market. Such skills include, but are not limited to:
- Teamwork;
- Interpersonal communication;
- Leadership.
